Neither as caustic as Martin Parr's sassy snaps, nor as clinical as the neo-objective trendsters who currently dominate the gallery scene and market, Ulrich's large format scenes have an almost 19th-century sense of carefully observed realism.
THE MAN SHOW - 3 WAYS
Erik Schneider, CPA will be presenting a talk on his latest curatorial effort "The Man Show". He will be looking at the show from 3 angles: CONCEPT: Mr. Schneider will discuss the underlying ideas behind the works in the show as well as commenting on the curatorial process for the exhibit.TECHNIQUE: A discussion of the various photographic techniques at work in the exhibit will be explored as the show is an excellent survey of many of the practices being employed today.MARKET: Finally, the show will be explored from a market standpoint including discussion of what makes art investment quality and how art is priced.
