Mark Woolley Gallery
William Park: Life is Good

In May, the Mark Woolley Gallery will be presenting a major solo show by veteran Portland painter William Park. Park's upcoming exhibition features primarily abstracted bird imagery executed in acrylic on canvas and paper.

This show is dedicated to Park's mother, Muriel Dowhen Park, who recently passed away. Park recently wrote this dedication: "Her spirit and enthusiasm for life have been a constant inspiration. This work is about that spirit: the extraordinarily ordinary joy of life. Life is Change. Painting is the act of making changes. Looking for the extraordinary through continuous ordinary acts."

Preview Party: Wednesday, April 30th, 6-9 PM
Food, beverages & music by Flamenco guitarist Jefferey Trapp
First Thursday Opening: Thursday, May 1st, 6-9 pm
